3/14/2019 0 Comments What Am I Doing? So, I finally committed to starting a blog. I've read several blogs written by friends, athletes that inspire me and like minded triathletes - and when reading these I always considered that it can’t be that hard to create exciting posts that others will be interested in as well. But as I sit here in the Auckland Airport departure lounge, awaiting the plane to whisk me back to Brisbane, my home town. I’m starting to realise that it’s not quite as easy as I originally thought. "Just write about what you think people would be interested in - and in a way they’d like to hear it", is the advice I’d received from fellow bloggers - easier said than done! Unquestionably, English was my worst subject in school – and now that I have committed to this blog, I certainly wish I had studied harder in class. However, poor spelling and grammar aside, if readers can overlook this and find my posts interesting or inspiring, then I will consider the blog a success. I truly hope to encourage others to get out of their comfort zone – just like I am in writing this blog. I'm excited to try and share a bit of insight into my life and what is happening with my triathlon journey this year. I have some big goals to work towards and I’m keen to share this journey to motivate others who may be undertaking a similar journey – and of course in doing so, I certainly feel some accountability to the targets I have committed to as I’ll be making them so brutally public! So, if you want to hop on board the Kent-Cross-triathlon-train, then make sure you check out my blog every now and then - I'll be delivering as much interesting content as I can! Thanks for reading (: Kent
